Nora E. Carr is an educator, writer, and translator based in Queens, New York. A Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature at the CUNY Graduate Center, her work focuses on literary translation, translation theory, multilingual texts, and borderlands. She has a deep interest in writing pedagogy, and has taught college writing and literature in translation at Queens College, CUNY since 2012. She has also taught in the Core Curriculum at New York University since 2019. Her translations from the Spanish have appeared in the Nashville Review and Latin American Literature Today.
